In the blog post, Norvergence cites a report of Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in which it mentioned the list of cities that are doing the most to control global warming.

  • Melbourne
  • Canberra
  • The Hague
  • Reykjavik
  • Sydney
  • Seattle
  • Boston
  • District of Columbia
  • Barcelona
  • West Palm Beach
  • Cape Town

Norvergence is not presenting the whole list as it includes many names. You can find it on the CDP website with other proper details like emission cuts against baseline, goals, etc.

Apart from the above, Norvergence wants to mention the name of “Buenos Aires”, the only Latin American city who suffered the maximum from floods and heat waves has plans to plant 54,000 trees by 2023.

Also, the London authorities have imposed a levy on the owners of the old cars that emit more gases while driving through central London.

Norvergence requests all the remaining cities of the world to make a plan that is both feasible and applicable to curb global warming.
